Many people in immediate need of treatment for an ache, sprain or other orthopedic discomfort have experienced a frustrating process.

“You might go to an emergency room and end up with a $3,000 bill and a card saying that an (orthopedic specialist) will see you in three weeks,” said Dr. Scott Zimmer of GO Ortho in Beachwood. “And most times you’ll get a temporary splint in an ER.”

GO Ortho, which was founded three years ago by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Reuben Gobezie at Ahuja Medical Center, and which moved in May to new offices at 3755 Orange Place, specializes in providing immediate, comprehensive care for joint, muscle and bone problems.
